Terms & Conditions

  • Cosmetic Damage: Champion Electrics Ltd does not repair cosmetic damage such as wall chases, chipped paint, damaged wallpaper, cracked plaster, holes from removed fittings, or ceiling access strips. This applies before, during, and after installation unless a repair has been specifically agreed with the client in advance.

  • Carpets & Floorboards: If carpets or floorboards need to be lifted, we will refit them as neatly as possible. However, we cannot guarantee they will return to their exact original condition.

  • Faulty Wiring: If any faulty wiring or safety issues are discovered during the agreed works, additional costs may apply. These will be discussed and agreed with the client before proceeding.

  • Additional Work: Any extra work or changes outside the original scope will require a separate agreement and may incur additional charges.

  • Accessories & Materials: Accessories will be selected by Champion Electrics Ltd unless the client specifies otherwise in advance.

  • Customer‑Supplied Items: Any accessories or fittings supplied by the customer are not covered under any warranty. If a return visit is required due to a fault with a customer‑supplied item, labour and any necessary materials will be chargeable.

  • Outdoor Work: Outdoor installations are weather‑dependent. Work may need to be rescheduled in the event of unsuitable conditions.

  • EICR'S: After an EICR is completed, any required improvements or remedial work must be agreed with the client before being carried out. Access to all fittings and accessories is required unless limitations are agreed beforehand. Remedial work is quoted separately and is not included in the cost of the EICR.

  • Quote's: A deposit is required before any work can commence. This applies whether the quotation is accepted online, in writing, or verbally. If a quotation is not formally accepted online but the client provides verbal approval, payment of the deposit will be taken as confirmation that the client agrees to the quoted works. Once the deposit has been paid and work has begun, the client is deemed to have entered into an agreement for the work to be carried out as detailed in the quotation.

  • Deposits: A deposit may be required before work begins. The amount is based on material costs and availability.

  • Final Payment: Full payment is due within 7 days of completing the agreed works.
